Title: "Rudolph the red nosed reindeer"
Let me tell you the origin and story of Rudolph!
1Corinthians 1:26-27
"Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.”
Thought to ponder: No one is excluded or rejected in God's work.
The story of the origin of "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" .. was conceived in the heart of a man named Robert May. Robert had a daughter that lived a different life than other children because her mother was dying, due to her home situation she was very limited in what she could do.
Robert was given the task by Montgomery Ward Co. to write a Christmas book to give away - as they did every year. Robert wanted to somehow encourage his daughter with this book.
One night, while developing the story of a reindeer named Rudolph who had to live a limited and different life because of his luminus red nose - he walked out on a balcony and saw the dense fog that Lake Michigan had brother to Chicago. This scene was the perfect idea to develop a positive message about Rudolph. And Rudolph became not a reindeer who was different and limited but rather with his bright red nose - Santa chose him to lead all of the other reindeers through the fog. Rudolph not only was then loved by the other reindeers and "went down in history"!
Montgomery Ward bought the idea and distributed over 2 million copies of the book!
It was eventually written as a poem/song and Gene Autry chose to sing it (after it was turned down by others) .. in 1949 and it reached #1 on the charts that year and has been a favorite Christmas song every since!
Never under estimate what God might use in your life. Your uniqueness - however it is seen by others - may be extremely valuable by God!

Lyrics
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen
But do you recall
The most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
"Rudolph, with your nose so bright
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
You'll go down in history"
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
"Rudolph, with your nose so bright
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
You'll go down in history"
