Sheep and The Lamb Of God

The LAMB of God During this Advent season, I am reminded of the words of John the Baptist when he first saw Jesus .. John 1:29 "Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world." Did you know that sheep can be bitten by poisonous rattlers and not die? Neat huh? I read one article that said that in Australia they make an antidote for humans out of sheep's blood!! Jesus, the Lamb of God, is the "antidote" for sin! When we trust Him and He lives in our hearts - as the scripture says - "sin shall NOT have dominion over you!" ... (Romans 6:14) Just thought that was an interesting analogy !! ًں™‚ Additional reading Matthew 1:18-21
