What Is Hope If It Is Not A Theory Or A Philosophy?
Luke 2:7 "And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn."
Who?
A man I heard speak in Akron, Ohio a number of years ago - Attorney Dr. David Gibbs relates this true experience of riding on a small plane in Alaska. When his friend, the pilot, began to fly in the clouds he passed out. David nor his associate knew anything about flying. They finally, with the help of a 747 pilot got in touch with a man in the tower at Anchorage their destination. With detailed instructions, asking them not to look at the clouds or the storm but rather listen to his voice, Attorney Gibbs landed that plane in Anchorage. The man in the tower gave them hope.
Hope is not a philosophy nor a theory - it is a person, He was that person in the manger. Let us follow his voice -words of Hope this glorious time of year!.
